The first inventory of surveyors identified in the various town histories and biographies for the state Various sources were examined for additional information and names, such as county histories, State Papers, various survey collections, N.H. Business Directories and a variety of specific published and unpublished genealogies. The authors hope to hear from readers who know more information about the nearly 1000 entries or to add the names of others not yet listed.
